D. H. Melhem, Rest in Peace
We are very sad to report that D.H. Melhem (Diana Melhem Vogel) has passed away. She made the transition on the evening of Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Edgewater Skilled Nursing in Long Beach. During several weeks in hospice care, she was attended to daily by her daughter Dana, son Greg and son-in-law George, as well as the regular and hospice nursing staff.
DH loved life, lived it to the fullest, and was deeply loved by her family, friends, students, collegues and many acquaintances, both here in Long Beach and throughout the world, but most especially in New York City. She will be interred in East Hampton, NY.
